Our farm school program is rooted in the actual work and wonder of the season. It mirrors what the land is doing each week, helping children develop a deeper connection to the changing seasons while learning practical skills they'll remember long after it ends.
Animal Husbandry
Feed and care for animals, collect eggs, health checks, animal science and we even make enrichment toys!
Survival Skills
Shelter building, knots, fire safety, water filtration, how to use a compass and other need to knows!
Weather & Wildlife
Weather experiments, leaf color science, migration, hibernation, bird watching, animal tracks and owl pellet dissections.
Growing & Using your Harvest
Seed dissection, planting fall, seed saving, germination experiment, harvest vegetables, butter making, seasonal cooking and food preservation basics.
Foraging
Learn plant identification, about acorns, nuts, mushrooms, berries, herbal tea, leaf identification and other skills to safely forage!
Nature's Artists
Leaf printing, nature weaving, watercolor landscapes, clay leaf bowls, flower pounding, eco-printing, watercolor journaling, clay impressions and so much more!
