Camp Description
This camp teaches children to observe and respect the natural world while learning safe, age-appropriate plant awareness and outdoor skills. We will safely explore the gardens and woods surrounding our farm to see what treasures we can identify. Activities will include: Identify herbs & garden plants Making our own foraging baskets Making sun tea (from garden herbs) The safety of foraging and identifying plants. Plenty of plant based arts & crafts + all of the farm fun including helping feed the goats, pigs & chickens, learning the importance aspects of animal husbandry and just enjoying them! We will end the week with a fun water day where kids can get in sprinklers, do a slip and slide and play water games! Camp runs Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM - 4 PM. This is a mostly outdoor camp, so please dress accordingly - closed toe shoes recommended. We do have an indoor, air conditioned space that the kids can retreat to for relief from the heat or in the case of a really rainy day. Early drop-off is available for an additional fee. Late pick-up is available for all day campers for an additional fee.
